Hunt Showdown Guide: How to Defeat Your Enemies

Hunt: Showdown offers a singular blend of the suspense of match-based shooters and the excitement of survival games. Up to 10 players are given free rein in a Louisiana swamp to hunt down horrifying beasts and each other in this competitive PvP bounty hunting game set in the darkest regions of the globe.

Now, it could seem that you would have to enter such a game with all weapons blazing, loud and proud. However, planning will be your best bet for surviving and triumphing in a game of Hunt. Death is permanent and putting your life in danger also puts your character and all of your equipment at risk.

If you want to survive to battle again in a world filled with danger and opponents, you must make a meticulous strategy. This guide's advice will enable you to locate, eliminate, and remove your reward off the map before monsters or other players eliminate you permanently.

Hunt Showdown Guide

Have an Objective

What you aim to accomplish should be the first thing you consider while developing a plan. You can kill certain enemies quietly if all you want to do is level up, gather experience points, and disappear from the map. It's okay if you want to pursue bounties.

It's also possible to surprise other teams and take their rewards. To prepare appropriately, you must be aware of your objective before you start playing.

Choose Weapons Wisely

A monster or another player will easily eliminate you if you are ill-equipped. Depending on the time of day, you'll want first aid supplies, firearms for both close-quarters and far-off combat, and a light source. Knowing the type of creature you'll be fighting allows you to prepare your arsenal following its strengths and limitations.

Choose Talented Hunters

You can recruit up to five hunter characters in Hunt, and you can then select one of them at the start of each game. However, every game involves a risk to your Hunter's life and equipment. The benefit increases with danger, so you should think about going slowly.

Start out cautiously and advance several hunters. When you do take a risk, you'll have a better chance of succeeding, and if you do fail, you'll have a powerful backup ready to step in for you in the following round.

Use Voice Comms to Your Advantage

Hunt's proximity audio chat function may be both a gift and a curse since other players may discover and eliminate you if they overhear you speaking with a buddy. We are aware that players frequently favor utilizing third-party communication tools due to this danger, but we advise using in-game communication as a matter of strategy.

Why? It may be used to taunt and harass rival players or to lure them into ambushes. It may also be used to attempt to build alliances with another team, which can be risky but could also make you an unstoppable force.

Strength in Numbers

Hunters that cooperate with one another have a far higher chance of success on a task. You are significantly at a disadvantage if you play alone. For instance, teammates can revive one another if one of them is hurt, whereas injured lone players stay down.

The game also includes a number of devices that can only be used by two players at a time. Until you have amassed a strong, well-equipped stable of hunters to pick from, we don't advise playing solo. Plus, playing with others is frequently far more enjoyable.

Don't Forget Your Surroundings

Avoid talking too much to your partner. Listen to the game. You may hear ravens take flight, distant gunshots, growls, and barks. You may use these noises to determine where monsters are in your area. Both stillness and a keen ear are necessary for stealth.
