Your characters role in the game is to walk around, drive a ship collecting items e.g. apples to score and to go home to rest. 
Use the right and left arrows to move the boat or your character, click on the pick button for picking up items to score when you are out on the open sea, the leave button to leave the ship once you are back at the jetty and enter to enter the ship or house. 
Once your wife is calling you to come home, you should better listen.
The scenery changes between day and night.
