Castle Defender is a subgenre of strategy game where the goal is to defend a player's territories or possessions by obstructing enemy attackers, achieved by placing defensive structures on or along their path of attack.This means building a variety of different structures that serve to automatically block, impede, attack or destroy enemies. Strategic choice and positioning of defensive elements is an essential strategy of the genre.

Every player has to choose his strategy. Player can locate 4 types of units per level. Player can also build a castle including tower, walls and moat which increases player's defensiveness.

There are 24 levels, 4 different location with different characters.

Player can collect 6 different types of bonuses:
- diamond - increases game currency
- discount - defender's units become cheaper
- heal - increases life of defender's units
- health - inrcreses castle defensivness
- time - reduce level's time
- skull - kill all the enemies
